The one where it was Christmas 2012

Christmas morning...Jaret and I woke up to another gorgeous day in Perth.  We ordered some breakfast and talked to both sets of parents...and then it was time to open up gifts!!  And I have to admit that I did not get a single picture of Jaret and I opening up presents...fail.  But we were both very blessed and got some wonderful things.  I got Jaret a metal detector for the beach and a print of a panoramic picture we took on our honeymoon in Scotland.  Jaret gave me a charm for my Pandora bracelet to mark our 1st Christmas as a married couple and a new bike!!  Plus "Santa" (my mom) had sent some fun things as well that make Perth feel a little more like home :)

After we were done with gifts it was time to get ready and head over to Rob & Joanne's for our feast! Rob put the turkey in the smoker earlier that morning so by the time we got there, that bird was looking dee-licious!

And here is something you don't see everyday...kids in a pool on Christmas Day!

While waiting for the turkey to cook...Jaret tried out his new toy!

After a couple more hours of enjoying the beautiful Christmas Day, the turkey was ready and it looked mouth watering!

Save me the neck, Clark. (hehe)

Joanne was working hard making all the yummy sides!

And while the last little bit of cooking was going on, Jaret and I entertained the kids.

Finally it was time to eat...and what a spread we had!!

After dinner we had fun with Christmas crackers and enjoyed wearing the paper crowns.

Then we tried started watching "Christmas Vacation"...Rob & the kids had too much Christmas fun.

So Joanne, Jaret & I enjoyed one of Evan's new toys and played "Operation".

Joanne won :)

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve & Christmas with people who are very quickly becoming great friends!  We are truly blessed!
